Infrared heater used as poultry
brooder heater.
Infrared heat is an ideal, economical source of warmth for brooding poultry.
Infrared heats the birds and the objects on the floor and not the
whole room or all the air in the room. An optional infrared sensor at bird
level provides precise and accurate control of bird comfort temperature.
The heaters can be used individually, or in groups or zones.

“Temperature rise above 68”Fahrenheit average
still air temperature measured directly below center of heater with a black
painted 6” x 6” x .062 aluminum plate with thermocouple attached to
bottom of plate. Plate on wood floor. This is the hottest point under the heater.
To get final temperature, add the temperature rise given in the above table to
your normal ambient air temperature. Example: If expected rise is 38 degrees and
room air temperature is 40 degrees, then the subject will feel like 78 degrees
directly under the heater.
