The Buddy Seat by Abetta is designed for ‘lil buddies who are unable to ride alone. Made of tough, rip proof Cordura Nylon laminated to shock-absorbing foam, the Buddy Seat attaches firmly to the back of your saddle.

Thick foam-padded cantle and swell makes riding more comfortable for young riders. The Buddy Seat comes complete with stirrups and adjustable Nylon stirrup leathers. Nylon straps on the swell provide handles for holding on.

Wide 2" Nylon Stirrup Leathers with Composition stirrups. The seat size is 10". Weight limit is 50 pounds.

Installation Instructions

1. Always thoroughly inspect equipment before use. Ensure safety by inspecting straps for wear and . stretching. Inspect hardware for rust or cracks. Replace all points of attachment exhibiting wear or damage.

2. Ensure cleanliness of equipment. Remove dirt, burrs, stickers, grass - anything that may produce un common wear of equipment or produce sores and erratic behavior of the horse. Be sure the horse is familiar with all new equipment before riding.

3. Properly bridle the horse and attach the host saddle including final cinching.

4. Place the BUDDY SEAT on the back housing with the swell firmly against the cantle of the host saddle.

5. Attach the two front straps of the BUDDY SEAT. Pull the straps through the end rings of the front cinch and feed through the clips of the buckles attached to the end of the straps.

6. Be sure the BUDDY SEAT is centered on the host saddle. Tighten the front straps.

7. Attach the two back straps of the BUDDY SEAT. Pull the straps through the end rings of the front cinch and feed through the clips of the buckles attached to the end of the straps. Pull the straps tight.

8. NEVER ALLOW A CHILD TO RIDE WITHOUT A HELMET and PROPER ADULT SUPERVISION.

9. NEVER ALLOW A CHILD TO RIDE AN UNFAMILIAR HORSE OR IN UNFAMILIAR SURROUNDINGS.
