Craig Johnson has carved a niche among today’s
top Reiner's as a “Champion of Champions”. He has designed his saddle from
the ground up with a unique tree that gently slopes from a narrow swell to the forward
center of the saddle. The tall cantle provides a secure seat during stops without
restricting other Reining movements. The stirrups are hung under the riders knees
allowing a full forward swinging action. In-skirt, stainless, dropped dee rigging
eliminates bulk under the fenders. The seat jockey and fenders are butted roughout
leather with unique ‘Waffle style’ tooling on the skirts and backhousing
accented by hand engraved, Sterling silver trim and Futurity tips.
