This training bit is excellent for bending and training the
young prospect. One pull on the reins and the horse will collect
himself, flex at poll and tuck his nose. The gag action helps
the horse to give his head. The standard snaffle mouth is gentle
and comfortable for most horses.

rider's hands or respond well to firm pressure. The long shanks
add leverage and control. The thin "Sweet-iron" twisted wire
snaffle will establish more authority than the standard snaffle
