Abetta Combination Hackamore Bits

These "combination" hackamore combines a hackamore with a mouthpiece for special applications. They are very popular among barrel racers that need added control on the headstrong, pulling horse giving you more control with a check and release cue when you rate the barrel.. They are also good in bigger pens and on hard ground.

Combination Gag Hackamore Bit

This unique bit helps the horse to rate a barrel while the side pull of the shank tucks the nose to the inside. The loose curb is perfect for the green horse or it can be tightened for more control. The ported snaffle applies pressure to the nose first and then the palate and corners of the mouth.

Shanks: 9", Stainless steel shanks with leather wrapped stainless steel noseband.
Mouth: 5:, "sweet-iron" ported snaffle.
